PRIORITY

MEET AT LEAST THREE OF THE BELOW

  • Median family income of families who apply for aid is below $50K

  • Average collected tuition is less than $5K per student

  • More than 25% of students meet Free & Reduced Lunch qualifications

  • Church is unable to support the school financially, or financial support is nominal

  • The school receives Title I services (Schools in which children from low-income families make up at least 40 percent of enrollment are eligible to use Title I funds)

ALIGNED

MEET TWO OF THE ABOVE OR BELOW

  • School demonstrates a commitment to economic diversity through contributing $250K or more to  tuition scholarships or discounts annually

  • Members of local parishes without schools who want to attend the school are given priority access regardless of financial means

  • The number of families who apply for financial aid exceeds 20%, and more than 50% of applicants would qualify for free/ reduced lunch 

  • The makeup of the school is similar to parish demographics in terms of socioeconomic status and racial ethnic makeup

  • The school provides support (monetary or in-kind) to other schools that are less fortunate

*However, student that qualify for the Collins fund are eligible (Collins is awarded to students with parents who are deceased or incarcerated)

  • Base tuition is over $8K

  • Fewer than 10% of students apply for financial aid

  • The school or parish does not have a dedicated scholarship fund

  • The school's demographics are significantly different from the parish
